Business Process Analyst

Our Team

We are part of the Global Travel & Expense (T&E) team, providing centralized support for business travel, corporate card, expense management, audit, and compliance across Koch companies, joint ventures, and investments. We partner with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions and support corporate travelers and cardholders.

What You Will Do

T&E Auditing:

  • Understand and apply T&E processes and global policies across business units
  • Manage a workbench consisting of assigned exceptions generated by an automated auditing tool
  • Apply logic and reason to analysis of employee expense submission entries and receipts.
  • Know company policies and procedures to ensure expense submissions are compliant.
  • Treat exceptions as opportunities to teach employees about company policies, procedures, Principle Based Management culture and Koch’s Guiding Principles
  • Identify high-risk patterns which can lead to fraud, misuse, or abuse of company assets.
  • Differentiate between abuse and negligence.
  • Conduct pre-audit on T&E Expense for APAC region
  • Manage the personal expense recovery process and personal reimbursement process for China employees.

T&E Card Program:

  • Manage corporate card requests (applications, terminations, credit limit changes) and inquiries
  • Respond to T&E-related queries, including expense submissions, reimbursements, and policy interpretation
  • Assist employees with business travel-related inquiries and booking issues
  • Coordinate KYC requirements and maintain program governance (authorized officers, administrators) for Credit Card Programs.
  • Communicate clearly, concisely, and strategically with cardholders and supervisors.
  • Manage delinquency processes and follow up on outstanding balances

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Effective communication skills across diverse and multicultural audiences
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Chinese is required to effectively communicate with stakeholders in China.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 3 years of experience in T&E, finance, or a related function
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to automation and analytics tools (e.g., Power Automate, Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx)
  • Additional language capabilities in Japanese or Korean would be advantageous in supporting regional stakeholders
