
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) works worldwide to provide protection and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflict and armed violence. We take action in response to emergencies and, at the same time, promote respect for international humanitarian law. We are an independent and neutral organization, and our mandate stems essentially from the Geneva Conventions of 1949. We work closely with National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and with their International Federation in order to ensure a concerted, rational and rapid humanitarian response to the needs of the victims of armed conflict or any other situation of internal violence. We direct and coordinate the international activities conducted in these situations.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Business Process Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mapping and analysing accounting business processes to identify areas for improvement. The Business Process Analyst will collaborate closely with the Business Process Owners (BPOs) and key stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement utilizing operational excellence methodologies, such as Business Analysis, Digital Transformation, Lean, and Six Sigma. He/she will also support the BPOs in identifying and understanding the needs of key stakeholders and end users and provide support in defining the business requirements. The Business Process Analyst will also be responsible to translate the business requirements into functional specification, and to ensure that they will be addressed by the IT solution that is being developed. Additionally, he/she will develop and maintain comprehensive business process documentation and training material and play a key role in planning the User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Within a Lean/ Six Sigma/ Agile project methodology framework, the Business analyst helps the finance community translate the need for change into process and organization model i.e. delivering consistent, standardized business solutions across the FSS organization.
