Based in Amsterdam and reporting directly to the Managing Director of the Netherlands, you will play a central role in a successful, fast-growing organization — with significant exposure and scope, and a clear plan to evolve into a key leadership position within 12 months.

You’ll work shoulder-closely with senior leaders across the country, cluster, and Group level - owning critical projects, driving transformation, and helping to shape the strategic future of the business. This is not a behind-the-scenes position; it’s a front-row seat to business leadership, with clear progression toward leadership and Management team roles. The path is proven – nearly 90% of our previous Business Planning & Transformation Leads (formerly named Chief-of-Staff) were promoted within two years, many stepping into leadership roles within a year.

Responsibilities of the Business Planning & Transformation Lead

With a recently strengthened Management Team combining proven leaders and exceptional talent, Verisure Netherlands is well positioned to accelerate its next stage of growth, further professionalise the organisation, and unlock the substantial market opportunity that lies ahead.

The Business Planning & Transformation Lead will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Managing Director and the Management Team, with strong exposure to the full commercial agenda, including sales strategy, performance, and go-to-market topicsThis is a highly cross-functional role with visibility across all major initiatives at Verisure Netherlands while also owning and driving key transformational projects from concept to execution. The role will also foster collaboration between the country, other countries and the Group to drive consistent performance and improvement. you will play a central role in a successful, fast-growing organization — with significant exposure and scope, and a clear plan to evolve into a key leadership position within 12 months.

Priorities will include:

• Ownership of critical projects - take full responsibility for several high-impact, end-to-end projects, including commercial projects such as:
  • Further defining and evolving sales strategy & go-to-market: define segment-specific GTM models, optimize methodologies across channels, ensure alignment between offering, value-based pricing and market needs, and lead strategic partnerships and growth initiatives.
  • Continue developingthe sales organization: design and evolve the operating model, scale recruitment and capabilities, and lead end-to-end rollout of high-impact strategic projects.
  • Own performance, incentives & growth engines: steer incentives, performance management, analytics and business tools, while driving disciplined pricing and discount governance.
• Right hand to Managing Director
  • Act as the right-hand to the Managing Director, expanding their reach by supporting the definition and execution of strategic initiatives in the Netherlands, including key commercial and sales strategy decisions as well as key value-creation projects.
  • Collaborate with the MD on ad hoc, high-priority issues that require deep dive analysis and high attention.
• Transversal and multidisciplinary business enabler
  • Work closely with the entire Management Team on strategic and transversal projects impacting including Marketing and Lead Generation, Commercial channels including field sales, sales structure creation, alliances, Portfolio, Operations.
  • Facilitate interactions with many stakeholders at country and group level
  • Participate with strategic planning in projects for our company, both at country and global level

Experience and Qualifications

We see this role as pivotal in driving Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation and an opportunity to fast-track into a Management Team leadership role for an individual with outstanding learning agility, strong leadership potential, and proven commercial horsepower. We are seeking a high-potential, top-performing individual who is proactive, solution-oriented, and focused on delivering tangible value to the business, with the potential to quickly evolve over next 12 months into a key commercial leadership position with managerial responsibility.

• Proven top performer with a strong track record in a leading strategy consulting firm, demonstrating exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or analytical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or similar) from a leading academic institution.
• Given the ambition for this role to develop into a senior leadership position in the near term, candidates would greatly benefit from combining strategic thinking with hands-on commercial experience in an in-house role This could include exposure to lead generation, commercial excellence, sales effectiveness, go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, or business transformation initiatives within fast-paced B2C or B2B2C environments.
• Experience supporting or driving the development of sales organizations, go-to-market models, and performance improvement initiatives would be highly valued.
• Demonstrated leadership potential, learning agility, and the ability to influence and drive change across complex stakeholder environments. The successful candidate will have a clear trajectory toward broader leadership responsibilities.
• Significant experience operating in multinational and multicultural environments, with the ability to navigate complexity and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
• Full professional fluency in Dutch and English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus
