This role provides the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across International Wealth and gain broad exposure to business planning, execution management, and cross-functional collaboration within a regional wealth management environment.

The individual will play a key role in supporting business priorities and driving disciplined execution across Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

What you do

The Business Planning & Execution Lead supports the International Wealth business across OCBC Premier Private Client (PPC) and OCBC Premier Banking segments in Singapore and Hong Kong.

This is an individual contributor role, and the individual is responsible for translating business priorities into structured plans and ensuring effective execution of key strategic initiatives across the business. This includes initiative tracking, governance coordination, stakeholder management, and management reporting.

The individual will work closely with business and functional stakeholders to support alignment, strengthen execution discipline, and provide visibility on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

1. Business Planning & Initiative Execution

- Support the development and execution of strategic business priorities and initiatives across International Wealth

- Translate business objectives into structured workplans, timelines, and deliverables

- Coordinate and monitor initiative progress to ensure alignment with agreed milestones and timelines

- Identify execution gaps, dependencies, and risks, and support issue resolution

2. Governance & Performance Tracking
- Establish and maintain structured governance and tracking mechanisms for key initiatives
- Prepare and manage initiative trackers, status updates, and progress reporting
- Support governance forums including working groups, management meetings, and steering updates
- Ensure timely escalation of issues and maintain visibility over key action items

3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with stakeholders across business, product, operations, compliance, and support functions
- Facilitate alignment across Singapore and Hong Kong teams to support effective execution
- Drive follow-through and accountability across stakeholders and workstreams
- Support communication and coordination across cross-functional teams

4. Management Reporting & Communication
- Prepare presentation materials and management updates for senior stakeholders
- Consolidate business updates, risks, dependencies, and decisions required
- Ensure reporting is accurate, structured, and delivered in a timely manner
- Support business review and planning discussions with relevant inputs and updates

5. Process Improvement & Execution Discipline
- Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting, and execution processes
- Support implementation of process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and governance
- Promote consistency and discipline in initiative management and reporting standards

Who you are

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines

- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in business planning, project management, consulting, strategy execution, or financial services

- Experience in banking, wealth management, or related financial services is preferred

- Strong organisational and project coordination skills with attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders concurrently

- Structured problem-solving and execution-oriented mindset

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Exposure to regional or cross-border business environments

- Familiarity with project tracking and reporting tools

- Experience supporting governance forums or management committees
