  • Schedule and prepare materials for Team Leader meetings.
  • Oversee and manage service contracts with key suppliers.
  • Support execution and continuous improvement of the General Motors Manufacturing System (GMS).
  • Provide day‑to‑day support to plant floor operations and perform additional duties as requested by the Shift Leader or Area Manager.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Experience supporting manufacturing or production operations in a plant environment, with exposure to staffing, budgeting, scheduling, or operational planning.
  • Working knowledge of the General Motors Manufacturing System (GMS) or comparable production systems, including SPQRCE metrics and layered audit processes.
  • Experience preparing, analyzing, and reporting operational performance data to support business plan deployment, forecasting, and leadership reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience with budget preparation, cost tracking, and forecasting, including participation in cost council or financial review meetings.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate change activities related to productivity improvements, staffing adjustments, model‑year changes, and build events within a manufacturing department.

What Could Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Experience working directly in a Body Shop, General Assembly, or Manufacturing environment.
