Axo Group is transforming how consumers access financial services. Through smart, tech-driven platforms, we connect people with the best available financial products. Following our acquisition of Zmarta Group, we are now a leading Nordic loan broker operating in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, with +170 employees across the region.
We are now looking for a Business Performance Manager to join our growing team at our Stockholm office to help drive the next chapter of growth.
This is a high-impact, AI-first commercial role that sits at the intersection of business performance, business development, and partner management.
Your primary responsibility will be driving business performance across 40+ Swedish bank partners spanning Unsecured Loans, Mortgages, and Credit Cards. Roughly half the role is dedicated partner management, owning and deepening lender relationships, while the other half is business performance and business development: using data and AI-driven tooling to find growth opportunities, design and run experiments, and turn insight into commercial action. As part of the Bank Partnerships Team, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and collaborate closely with Product, Tech, Finance, and Marketing to build and scale strong partnerships with banks and other financial institutions.
In this role, you will apply a rigorously data-driven, AI-first approach, transforming insights into actionable strategies that deliver mutual growth and value for both Axo and our partners.
Experience in financial services or account management is a plus but not required; what matters most is a sharp commercial mindset, strong analytical ability and the drive to do your own analysis rather than wait for someone else to do it, fluency with AI-powered tools, and the ability to communicate clearly with partners and colleagues.
· Own business performance across the Swedish bank partner portfolio: build dashboards, run structured performance reviews and QBRs, and design experiments that move the numbers.
· Use AI and automation tools to accelerate analysis, surface opportunities, size impact, and prioritize where to focus.
· Own and deepen relationships with 40+ Swedish lenders, collaborating on Nordic partners when needed.
· Lead commercial negotiations and new partner onboardings with business cases, pricing and payout analysis, and performance follow-up.
· Drive business development initiatives: identify new partnership opportunities, product angles, and growth levers across Loans, Mortgages, and Credit Cards.
· Improve business logic, optimize processes, and enhance customer experience end-to-end.
· Collaborate with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Sales to refine APIs, user flows, and conversion.
· Growth in partner-driven gross profit and payout volume
· Conversion & approval rates across the funnel (application → payout)
· Impact of AI-driven experiments and business development initiatives on portfolio performance
Must-haves:
· 3–5 years in analytical/commercial roles (consulting, banking, fintech, marketplaces, or similar)
· Strong analytical skills and a structured, problem-solving mindset
· Genuine enthusiasm for using AI tools to work faster and smarter, with a builder's mindset toward automation and experimentation
· A proven relationship builder who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders
· Fluent in Swedish and professional English
Nice-to-haves:
· Experience with consumer finance, credit products, or partner/account management
· Hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows or building lightweight automations
· An adaptive person with an initiative-taking, can-do attitude
· Comfortable presenting to, and constructively challenging, senior stakeholders at partner banks
· Help scale one of the fastest-growing FinTechs in the Nordics having real ownership and creating real impact.
· Work with 100+ financial institutions and banks across the Nordics.
· Work in an AI-first driven FinTech organization
· Competitive compensation, benefits, and a high-performing, collaborative culture
