THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are looking for a Business Performance and Analytics, Consultant who is responsible for
- Driving Enterprise performance management, strategic planning, and business analytics of AIA Vietnam in collaboration with local Senior stakeholders and counterparts in Group Office to monitor business performance, generate actionable insights, identify growth opportunities and business risks, and support strategic decision making.
- Coordinating & preparing Strategic Planning in alignment with local and Group priorities.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning (30%)
Coordinate the local Strategic planning exercise (3-year horizon) for the whole organization.
Conduct market, competitive and internal performance analyses to support strategic discussions and planning assumptions.
Collect data & conduct analysis to support the thought process and discussion of Leadership team.
Facilitate Strategic planning workshops and alignment sessions with Leadership team and key stakeholders.
Prepare the content of annual Strat Plan exercise and ensure consistency and alignment across functions in direction.
Ensure correctness of information and targets with thorough review of underlying models, assumptions, challenging functional management team to eliminate ambiguity and disconnect.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
Business Review (30%)
Develop and provide periodic management report and business reporting (for Regional CEO Office, Group Finance, Group Investor Relations, local Board) at corporate levels.
Capture management’s decision, frame action items and ensure effective follow-up with related Excos and SMTs.
Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of business review materials and management presentation.
Business Performance monitoring (40%)
Track AIA Vietnam’s performance health according to strategic plan and a set of strategic KPI.
Analyze the correlation between company’s performance and the status, progress of on-going strategic and tactic initiatives.
Prepare analysis and identify misalignment, reason behind performance gap for improvement opportunities.
Conduct ad-hoc analytics to identify the root-cause of business issue or potential business opportunity and advise Senior management on making strategic decision.
Support senior management by providing fact-base recommendations and scenario analyses for strategic decisions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: At least 5-8 years of experience in Strategy, Business Planning, Business Analytics, Financial Services or Consulting industry. Working experience in Life Insurance, particularly in Business Analytics, is preferred.
Education: Bachelor degree in Business, Economics or Engineering from reputable universities. MBA/Master degree or CFA (2+) is preferred.
Excellent command of English and Vietnamese, both written and oral.
Good people and communication skills.
Experience with data visualization and analytical tools (Power BI, SQL..) preferred.
Proficient with Excel, Powerpoint
