The Business Performance Analyst will support the Business Optimization and Analytics function for Grifols Plasma Centers by delivering high‑quality data analysis, reporting, and business insights. This role is ideal for an early‑career analytics professional who is strong in Excel and Power BI, comfortable working with data, and eager to grow analytical, business, and presentation skills in a complex operations environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to track plasma center performance (volume, productivity, utilization, efficiency metrics) for Regional Managers, Sr. Directors of Operations, VP of Plasma Business Optimization, and President of Plasma Procurement
  • Prepare recurring and adhoc analytical reports to support operational and strategic decisions for Sr. Manager of Business Performance & Value, and VP of Plasma Business Optimization
  • Performs data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports
  • Uses advanced Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, nested formulas, lookups) for data analysis and automation
  • Analyzes trends, variances, and outliers in operational performance metrics
  • Applies basic statistical techniques (percentiles, distributions, correlations, trend analysis)
  • Assist with pilot analyses and measurement of operational changes or initiatives for Director of Business Excellence and Associate Director of the Project Management Office
  • Create clear, concise PowerPoint presentations for leadership reviews
  • Translates complex data into simple narratives and visuals

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Advanced Excel (PivotTables, complex formulas; Power Query preferred)
  • Power BI experience (dashboard creation, DAX basics, data modeling preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work with large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Solid PowerPoint skills with a focus on executive storytelling
  • Naturally detailoriented and qualityfocused
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Comfortable receiving direction and iterating quickly
  • Able to explain data clearly to nontechnical audiences
  • Organized, reliable, and deadlinedriven

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Business Analytics; Economics; Statistics; Engineering; Finance; Mathematics; Data Science;(or a related quantitative field)
  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytics, business intelligence, or operations role
  • Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience.

The estimated pay scale for the Business Performance Analyst role based in the United States, is $61,000.00 - $91,400.00 per year Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 5% of the company bonus pool. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, where the role is performed, internal equity and market data.
