This is a rare Melbourne-based opportunity to gain exposure to ANZ's International Institutional business. As a Finance Business Partner - International, you will work within the International Business Partnering team, reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, International. You will support business and Finance stakeholders across ANZ's international network by providing timely financial analysis, clear performance insights and practical commercial support.
International is a diverse and strategically important part of ANZ's Institutional business, serving customers whose activities span regional trade and capital flows. Working from Melbourne, you will collaborate with country Finance teams, product business partners, FPM, Financial Control and other specialist teams across multiple countries and time zones.
Your value will come from your analytical capability, commercial curiosity and attention to detail, together with your ability to translate complex information into a clear story. You will build a strong understanding of the drivers of International performance and help stakeholders identify risks, opportunities and actions that support better financial outcomes.

This is a versatile regional role in which you will:
· Partner with International business and Finance stakeholders to understand the commercial drivers of regional performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support well-informed decisions.
· Translate complex financial and non-financial information into clear, executive-ready insights, narratives and presentation materials for International leadership.
· Build an integrated view across countries and product areas, connecting performance across revenue, expenses, balance sheet, capital, returns, customer and risk information.
· Investigate important business questions and emerging trends across products and geographies, considering relevant macroeconomic, market, regulatory and competitive factors.
· Contribute high-quality analysis to growth, productivity, investment and capital-related priorities, constructively testing assumptions and highlighting practical actions.
· Coordinate with country Finance teams, product business partners, FPM, Financial Control and other specialists to gather inputs, test assumptions and produce a coherent International view.
· Take ownership of analytical deliverables from data sourcing, modelling and reconciliation through to conclusions, recommendations and executive-ready materials.
· Improve the quality and efficiency of analysis and reporting by simplifying, standardising and, where practical, automating processes and outputs.
· Support planning, outlook, forecasting and scenario analysis, and help stakeholders understand performance against expectations and the implications for future outcomes.
· Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across countries and time zones, including reasonable flexibility around key business cycles.
