Team Red Dog is hiring a Business Operations & Marketing Strategy Lead for our client, a global technology leader and AI-driven technology organization. In this highly visible, remote (with occasional travel to Redmond), you will drive operational excellence across a sophisticated B2B digital marketing organization by leading business operations, optimizing cross-functional processes, and enabling scalable Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs. You'll partner with senior leaders to improve business planning, executive communications, AI-powered automation, reporting, and governance while helping shape the operating model behind commercial web, email, paid media, and customer journey experiences. This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic operator who combines business operations, digital marketing, program management, and AI-enabled process optimization to deliver measurable business impact.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. B2B Digital Marketing & Marketing Operations – 5+ years of experience supporting commercial web marketing, campaign landing pages, customer journey programs, ABM initiatives, or content workflows while partnering across marketing, analytics, and delivery teams.
  2. Business Operations, Program Management & Process Optimization – 5+ years leading cross-functional initiatives, documenting scalable business processes, improving operational efficiency, driving governance, and supporting executive business planning and rhythm of business activities.
  3. Operational Tools, Reporting & AI-Enabled Productivity – 3+ years utilizing Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, ClickUp, Asana, Smartsheet, or similar platforms to manage workflows, develop reporting, improve collaboration, and leverage AI or automation to increase operational efficiency.

Opportunity Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to influence how a large-scale commercial digital marketing organization operates and scales. Working directly with senior leadership, you'll build the operational infrastructure that enables high-performing marketing teams by improving business processes, driving strategic planning, developing executive communications, and introducing AI-powered automation that streamlines execution. Your work will directly impact how digital marketing initiatives are planned, measured, and delivered across multiple customer touchpoints.

How you will make an impact:

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable business processes that support marketing execution, planning, and operational excellence.
  • Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency through automation, standardization, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Develop and maintain operational documentation, playbooks, governance models, and training resources to improve consistency across teams.
  • Manage operational tools and collaboration environments including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and project management platforms.
  • Partner with executive leadership on annual planning, quarterly business reviews, budgeting, headcount planning, and strategic initiatives.
  • Own the rhythm of business calendar, including executive reviews, QBRs, MBRs, leadership updates, and strategic communications.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, business updates, KPI reporting, and performance dashboards.
  • Monitor KPIs, OKRs, strategic initiatives, and business performance using data-driven insights and AI-powered analytics.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across digital marketing, analytics, customer journey management, web experiences, and delivery teams.
  • Identify operational risks, improve governance, and drive adoption of standardized business processes.
  • Support vendor management, contract administration, compliance activities, and operational planning.
  • Evaluate emerging AI solutions that improve business operations, decision-making, and marketing effectiveness.

The expertise you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Human-Centered Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in business operations, marketing operations, program management, or executive business management.
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on B2B digital marketing experience supporting commercial marketing initiatives.
  • Experience supporting web marketing operations, customer journey programs, campaign execution, or Account-Based Marketing (ABM).
  • Strong experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated success improving operational processes, governance, documentation, and workflow management.
  • Experience developing executive communications, strategic planning materials, and leadership reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, and project management platforms such as ClickUp, Asana, or Smartsheet.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools, automation, and analytics to improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrixed enterprise environments with shifting priorities.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or HubSpot and CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP certification, or an MBA is a plus.

Job Type and Estimated Duration: W2 contract opportunity through June 30, 2027, with the potential to extend up to 18 months total, subject to performance, budget, and client discretion.

Rate: $11,250 - $12,500 per month
