The Role & Your Impact

As a Business Operations Manager in Novonesis’ Household Care business, you will be responsible for helping manage- and grow one of our global strategic partnerships. Our team is focused on managing- and growing one of Novonesis largest partners and driving the global innovation agenda with the account. As a result, you will have a direct impact on a key performance driver of Novonesis in this team.

You will be responsible for global operations coordination- and optimization, financial analysis and reporting to senior leadership, forecasting and budgeting, and supporting business development activities with product establishments and price-setting. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting negotiations of major contracts and managing implementation and operating global agreement terms. You will operate in a complex stakeholder environment with supply planning, customer service, finance, senior leaders and key contacts on the customer side.

The person holding this role needs to be exceptionally structured, able to manage many tasks at once, have great analytical skills and be highly diligent in living up to deadlines and high-quality standards for deliverables; internal as well as external.

You will be part of a dynamic team of commercial- and technical colleagues; all motivated by driving maximum impact of biosolutions in the industry via our strategic partner.

Key responsibilities include

  • Maintain and oversee all business operations related to the customer account. Build and nurture strong relationships with procurement and logistics counterparts at the customer organization.
  • Own and drive financial processes, forecasting activities, and demand planning, incl. providing insights into leadership regarding account developments, market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments.
  • Identify and propose new solutions that optimize value across supply, operations, and product portfolio management.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and PMT stakeholders to improve business performance.
  • Follow up on payment overdues, credit note handling, and rebate administration.
  • Manage contracts, pricing structures, supply agreements, product portfolios, and price lists.

What You'll Need to Be Success

  • A higher degree (BSc or MSc) enabling you to deliver on the role requirements; could be in supply chain, finance, engineering, economics
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in either Business Operations, Finance, or relevant commercial roles with tangible results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Proven track record of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent skills working with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Salesforce knowledge is an advantage

Ways of Working

This role is based at Novonesis headquarters in Lyngby, Denmark. This role requires close collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies and is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You will balance strategic and operational priorities and should be comfortable managing several business-critical activities simultaneously while maintaining a structured and proactive approach. Occasional travel may be required to support customer engagements, business reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
