Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Operations Manager based in Switzerland.
As Business Operations Manager, you’ll play a central role in ensuring commercial operations run smoothly across the EMEA region.
You’ll act as the operational bridge between Commercial, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, HQ Operations, and external partners.
Your scope will span the full commercial lifecycle, from quotations and orders through provisioning, invoicing, renewals, and partner operations.
This is an independent, hands-on role where you’ll own issues, coordinate stakeholders, and drive solutions rather than simply provide administrative support.
You’ll help identify operational bottlenecks and turn recurring challenges into scalable, standardized processes.
Working in a fast-growing healthcare technology environment, you’ll have meaningful exposure to international markets and cross-functional initiatives.
The role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact on operational efficiency while helping support continued expansion across EMEA.
Accountabilities
- Manage quotations and orders by preparing quotes and order forms, reviewing purchase orders, coordinating approvals, and ensuring accurate handovers between Commercial and operational teams.
- Coordinate order processing and license provisioning, ensuring customer and partner information is complete and resolving operational blockers efficiently.
- Support invoicing and accounts receivable activities by ensuring invoice readiness, coordinating with Finance, monitoring invoice status and overdue receivables, and resolving billing or documentation issues.
- Manage renewal operations by maintaining visibility of upcoming renewals, coordinating preparation across relevant teams and partners, and proactively tracking risks and outstanding actions.
- Support distributor and commercial partner operations, including onboarding, documentation, system access, internal setup, and alignment with operational processes.
- Coordinate operational requirements for new EMEA markets, working across Commercial, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, Customer Success, and HQ teams.
- Take ownership of day-to-day commercial operational issues by establishing clear owners and deadlines, coordinating stakeholders, removing bottlenecks, and driving matters through to resolution.
- Identify recurring operational challenges and develop scalable processes that improve turnaround times, reduce rework, and minimize unnecessary escalations to senior management.
- Monitor operational performance through metrics such as order-processing times, provisioning lead times, renewal readiness, partner onboarding, AR follow-up, and completion of agreed actions.
Requirements:
- Approximately 4–7 years of experience in Business Operations, Commercial Operations, Order Management, or a related operational role.
- Experience supporting B2B commercial operations, preferably across multiple countries or international markets.
- Strong understanding of quotations, purchase orders, invoicing, renewals, and order-to-cash processes.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively across Commercial, Finance, Legal, Customer Success, Operations, and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and reliable follow-through.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in a fast-growing, evolving environment where processes may still be developing.
- Experience using CRM platforms and other business systems to manage operational workflows and information.
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
- Experience in SaaS, healthcare, medical devices, healthcare IT, or another technology-driven environment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn operational issues into practical, repeatable solutions.
Benefits:
- Full-time employment under an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement.
- Fully remote work-from-home setup with occasional business travel.
- Opportunity to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple countries and global teams.
- 30 days of paid time off.
- Onboarding gifts and home-office equipment or supplies.
- Training and professional development opportunities.
- Exposure to an international, fast-growing healthcare technology environment.
- Opportunity to take meaningful ownership of commercial operations and contribute to the development of scalable processes.
