As Business Operations Manager, you will play a key role in managing and developing one of Novonesis’ most important global customer partnerships. Working at the intersection of sales, supply chain, finance, and customer operations, you will help ensure sustainable value creation for both Novonesis and our customer.

You will join a highly collaborative team consisting of a Senior Sales Development Manager, a Business Operations Manager, and a student helper. Together, the team manages one of Novonesis' most significant partnerships, combining close teamwork with clearly defined responsibilities to deliver outstanding customer value and strengthen long-term relationships.

The Role & Your Impact

In this role, you will have a mixed operational, tactical, and strategic responsibi-

lity, with a strong emphasis on execution and optimization. Acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, you will help ensure seamless business operations while identifying opportunities to improve value across the supply chain and product portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and oversee all business operations related to the customer account.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with procurement and logistics counterparts at the customer organization.
  • Provide input to financial processes, forecasting activities, and demand planning.
  • Identify and propose new solutions that optimize value across supply, operations, and product portfolio management.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain and PMT stakeholders to improve business performance.
  • Provide insights to leadership regarding account developments, market trends, competitive dynamics, and industry developments.
  • Follow up on payment overdues, credit note handling, and rebate administration.
  • Manage contracts, pricing structures, supply agreements, product portfolios, and price lists.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

  • A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree within Business, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience from the ingredient industry or a similar B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience within business operations, finance, supply chain, data analysis, or commercial support functions.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional business environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • A proactive and structured approach to managing multiple priorities and delivering results.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an advantage:

  • Experience working with global strategic customer accounts.
  • Sales pipeline management experience.
  • Knowledge of commercial contract management and pricing administration.
  • Experience working across international supply chains.
  • Curiosity for market trends, competitive dynamics, and business development opportunities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in identifying smarter ways of working.

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

This role is based in a hybrid working environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration and regular office presence in Lyngby. We value flexibility and trust, offering a flexible work schedule that supports both business needs and work-life balance. Travel is expected to be limited, typically below 10%, and primarily related to customer interactions and business meetings. Given the close partnership with a key global customer, the role involves frequent collaboration with colleagues across commercial, supply chain, finance, and leadership functions, as well as regular engagement with customer stakeholders
