The Business Operations Manager leads the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) operation, ensuring efficient order management, billing, accounts receivable, collections, and cash application processes. This role drives operational excellence through team leadership, stakeholder collaboration, escalation management, process improvement, and cash flow optimization while maintaining compliance, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash operations, including order management, invoicing, collections, accounts receivable, and cash application activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders and invoices while meeting operational service levels.
  • Develop and execute collection strategies to improve cash flow, optimize working capital, and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through performance management, training, and succession planning activities.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer, billing, collection, and operational issues.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and other business functions to resolve operational challenges and improve customer experience.
  • Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive process improvement, standardization, and transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and regulatory requirements.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Order Management, Collections, Accounts Receivable, Finance Operations, or related functions.
  • At least 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or managerial experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes, including order management, collections, accounts receivable, billing, and cash application.
  • Proven experience handling escalations, issue resolution, and complex problem-solving situations.
  • Strong English communication skills with the ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other Order Management, Collections, or ERP systems.
  • Experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or project management initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and customer service skills.
