About the Opportunity:We’re looking for a Business Operations Lead to join the BTSE team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the COO and the COO Office leadership, leading the BizOps team to strengthen operational excellence and support scalable growth across the BTSE ecosystem.You’ll oversee a range of key initiatives, from improving internal governance and back-office systems to supporting go-to-market efforts for licensed entities and joint ventures. The role also focuses on building stronger business continuity frameworks and driving cost efficiency.This is a high-impact position that requires solid operational and financial judgment, strong systems thinking, and the ability to navigate complexity in a fast-moving crypto environment. You’ll be part of the core team shaping strategic decisions with full visibility into business direction.If you enjoy taking ownership and driving meaningful impact in a dynamic environment, we’d love to connect.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key strategic partner to the COO and senior stakeholders, helping to define and execute the operational roadmap for licensed entities and JVs—collaborating across legal, compliance, product, project, payments, and other business functions to align regulatory and business requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives that evolve the efficiency architect and enhance business readiness, and support long-term scalability. You will be the core influencer to identify, design, and implement solutions that improve the way internal teams and external stakeholders work together.
  • Steer ad-hoc and strategic projects to ensure a timely delivery and achieve high-quality business outcomes by coordinating resources, aligning business targets across the various teams and partners.
  • Oversee the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) frameworks, and initiate new integrations of external tools to ensure a robust, consistent operations of the platforms and the entire BTSE platform and ecosystem.
  • Conduct cost-benefit assessments for third-party tool integration and manage ongoing cost-benefit impact on each business stream, ensuring tools are both effective and financially sustainable.
  • Champion the evolution of the back-office systems, prioritize the project pipelines, and enhance the reporting frameworks that empower better governance on user operations and data security.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale the Business Operations team to continuously foster the collaborative and high-accountability culture.

Requirements:

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in business operations, corporate strategy, or project management in sectors such as fintech, crypto, financial services, or large-scale corporates.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and scale high-performing teams.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with hands-on experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or P&L management.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies with a track record of setting up frameworks and delivering initiatives on time and within scope throughout the entire execution of the projects.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Chinese and English, with the ability to influence across levels and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders alike, as well as to the C-suite.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-directed. Capable of navigating ambiguity and managing both strategic and tactical workstreams.

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with business intelligence or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) is a plus.
  • Educational background in business, operations, finance, or a related discipline is a plus.
