The Next Generation Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Business Operations Director is an exciting opportunity to lead in a dynamic Line of Business (LoB) within our Missiles and Fire Control Business Area (BA)! The focus of this area is to lead strategically important programs through their developmental efforts and into production, driving creative business models to expand our footprint both domestically and internationally. This is a new role focused on many of the new initiatives that are driving expansion within the business, including Future Interceptor, PAC-3 ACE, and other pursuits as they transition from our Advanced Programs LoB.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Next Generation IAMD Business Operations Director, you will have an opportunity to lead a team of business operations individuals while serving on a leadership team tasked with bringing these new programs into production. Regular responsibilities include:

• ensuring contractual compliance, cost management, budget development and analysis, financial estimating, configuration management and proposal support
• Financial Forecasting both for annual demands as well as in our Long Range Plan (Orders/Sales/EBIT/Cash, but also capital, NBF needs)
• employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary and recognition / disciplnary action
• Business model development
• Establishment of co-production
• International business strategies

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Experience in business leadership roles with proven track record of success in development and international sales
• Strong business acumen with proven experience in thinking strategically and implementing new initiatives within an organization. This includes leadership through the generation of business cases with appropriate financial metrics and returns (IRR, NPV, ROIC, etc) for review with executive leadership
• Ability to deliver results in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex business documents to include legal binding agreements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with particular skills in leading and directing both the strategic and operational activities throughout the organization.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally and to collaborate well with the leadership team, employees, customers, and other strategic partners

Pay Information

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $180000.00 - $325000.00
• Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $180000.00 - $325000.00
• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $180000.00 - $325000.00
• Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $180000.00 - $325000.00
• Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
