Job Description

The Business Operations Coordinator II reports to the Business Operations Manager and plays a critical cross-functional role in supporting OTECH’s operational efficiency, resource management, workforce coordination, compliance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position collaborates closely with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while driving strategic process improvements. The Business Operations Coordinator II manages complex workflows, oversees onboarding and training logistics, supports major internal programs, maintains reporting tools, and partners with managers and leadership to identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

  • Analyze workflows to uncover issues, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Support change initiatives by documenting processes, updating SOPs, and maintaining process standards.

  • Track and interpret performance metrics to measure results and inform datadriven decisions.

  • Participate in information gathering, analysis, development, and deployment of tools and processes.

  • Collect, produce, monitor, and distribute reports from various OTECH and OII enterprise systems.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at strengthening operational effectiveness and customer experience.

  • Communicate effectively across teams and support groups to ensure key information is shared with all stakeholders.

  • Help identify and resolve conflicts, determine resource needs, and support improved organizational alignment. Uphold the company’s commitment to maintaining safe work practices as outlined in the Life Saving Rules.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or Project Management, with 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, with demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Power Pivot, complex formulas, data modeling, and in-depth data analysis.

  • Advanced skills in MS 365 apps and platforms such as Teams, SharePoint, and Power platform.

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion (ERP/HCM/Financials) preferred.

  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to break down complex information, identify patterns and solve problems by making data-driven decisions.

  • Skilled in coordinating project activities, managing timelines, and monitoring deliverables on large projects.

  • Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Project for developing dashboards, tracking project performance and reporting key metrics a plus.

  • Good oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to organize and present ideas in a logical manner. Experience writing reports and preparing procedures.

  • Reliable team player, with good organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Has a good attendance record, an ability to plan effectively and a good track record for meeting deadlines.

  • Self-motivated with positive attitude. Willing to learn new skills, share experiences and take on roles of increasing responsibility. Is comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

The salary range for this position is $69,100 - $103,700,
