ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting new opportunity for a highly organised and proactive Business Operations Coordinator to join our Business Support Services division in a full-time capacity with flexible or school hours available to the right candidate.

Reporting to the Business Support Services Manager, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day operational performance of our radiology services. This is a key coordination role, working across clinical, technical, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations, optimise workflows, and support service delivery outcomes. You will play a critical role in connecting teams, resolving operational issues, and supporting continuous improvement across the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate day-to-day operational activities across multiple sites
  • Monitor workflows including bookings, reporting turnaround times (TAT), and service delivery
  • Support rostering coordination and operational coverage
  • Act as a central point of coordination between radiologists, technical teams, and administration
  • Assist with tracking performance metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting
  • Support referrer and stakeholder issue resolution, ensuring timely escalation and closure
  • Maintain accurate data across systems, including RIS/PACS and operational tools
  • Assist with system updates, process improvements, and operational projects
  • Support compliance, quality assurance, and audit activities


About You:

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare or service environment.

You will bring:

  • Experience in operations, coordination, or administration (healthcare highly regarded)
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems

Desirable:

  • Experience in radiology or healthcare environments
  • Exposure to RIS/PACS systems (e.g. Comrad, Intelerad)
  • Exposure to QGenda
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, or workflow optimisation
