Main goal

Join UC3 – the joint venture set up by UEFA and European Football Clubs (EFC) to lead the global strategy, marketing, sales and commercial delivery of the most prestigious club competitions in world football, including the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Women’s Champions League, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Conference League.

As Business Operations Assistant, you’ll play a central role facilitating the implementation of UC3’s commercial programmes and stakeholder initiatives, supporting the administration, logistics and meeting coordination of the Business Operations and Commercial teams, while assisting the wider UC3 team on major events and projects. This is an exciting opportunity in a unique organisation at the heart of European club football.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and logistical support to the Business Operations team and the wider UC3 organisation, including travel arrangements, expense management, workshops, events and internal and external meetings
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of events by coordinating logistics, accreditation processes, ticket requirements, guest communications and hospitality arrangements for UC3 and its partners
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations, reports, meeting materials and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining and updating databases, contact directories, tracking tools, filing systems and reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Managing and regularly updating content on the UC3 intranet and other internal communication platforms
  • Overseeing general materials management and supporting the coordination and distribution of VIK items, gifts and memorabilia, as well as other rights delivery initiatives
  • Assisting with procurement processes, invoice management and financial reporting activities
  • Providing operational support during events and key stakeholder activities, including on-site assistance where required
  • Delivering proactive day-to-day support to UC3 colleagues and stakeholders, including UEFA, EFC, clubs, commercial partners and agencies, helping to ensure the smooth running of business operations and stakeholder engagement activities

Requirements

Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in the fields of sports administration, commercial operations and event management

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sports management, hospitality or a related field

Languages

  • English / Proficient
  • Proficiency in other European languages would be an asset

Other

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, time management and cross-functional coordination skills
  • Strong and consistent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with a service-first approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
  • Highly motivated, proactive and solution-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
