About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Strategic Business Analyst to support the CEO in driving strategic initiatives, business planning, and management decision-making for our Singapore entity. This role requires strong business acumen, structured thinking, and the ability to quickly understand complex business issues and translate them into clear insights, proposals, and actionable recommendations. Working closely with the CEO and senior management, you will support the preparation of management meeting materials, strategic business proposals, performance reviews, and budgeting exercises, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key business priorities. The ideal candidate is a fast learner who can connect the dots across different business functions, communicate ideas clearly, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to senior management, strategic planning, and business operations within the financial services industry. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare weekly management meeting materials, presentations, and business updates for the CEO. - Consolidate cross-functional inputs, identify key discussion points, and track follow-up actions. - Support the CEO in developing business proposals, strategic recommendations, and management presentations. - Conduct business performance analysis, market research, and competitive assessments to identify opportunities and risks. - Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting exercises, including performance tracking and variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Candidates with a Master's Degree will have an added advantage. - Strong business acumen and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate, compete, and grow. - Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp unfamiliar topics and structure complex information. - Strong written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive business proposals and management materials. - Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin will have an added advantage. - Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, BI). - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
