Wayground is a high-growth, profitable SaaS company backed by leading investors including Tiger Global, GSV, and Nexus Venture Partners.
If you're excited about education and international SaaS and want to build towards a mission that you can be proud of, then Wayground is the right place for you.
We are seeking a Business Operations and Strategy - Senior Manager to play a critical role in helping drive our business. You will join a team that sits at the center of how Wayground operates and makes decisions - informing our strategic priorities, managing resource allocation and investment decisions, and building the operating system to drive growth and performance in our core U.S. K–12 business.
The scope of this role will be broad and dynamic; you will work across the business to identify and solve the company’s highest-priority challenges. Success requires the ability to quickly build context and expertise, prioritize effectively, and bring structure to ambiguity. You will leverage your business and financial acumen to help make both big and small operating decisions to drive both revenue and EBITDA. This role requires crisp strategic thinking at a 30,000-foot view, combined with a willingness to get into the weeds and execute on operational needs to bring strategy to life. This role is ideal for someone with the ambition to grow into a senior operator or GM-type role while making an impact in education.
You will be expected to challenge and elevate those around you to drive better outcomes for both our business and our customers.
Examples of initiatives you would own but are not limited to:
GTM Operating System: Build the GTM operating system by defining KPI ownership across various GTM roles, setting goals and OKRs (overall, by team, and by individual), and building the right operating rhythms to drive cross-functional alignment and accountability.
Strategic Planning: Identify the right strategic questions, build analyses, and deliver recommendations to inform resource allocation, including headcount planning, compensation and quota design, marketing and event investment, and other management decisions to drive growth.
GTM Financial Modeling: Own the financial modeling and forecasting for all go-to-market motions across marketing, sales, and customer success, translating key funnel and unit economic indicators into changes in strategic direction or investment.
Financial Systems: Build from the ground up the systems, cadence, and processes required to ensure both the C-suite and all department leaders have clear accountability for their respective P&Ls.
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Lead ad-hoc, in-depth financial analysis and reporting projects to provide critical decision support for commercial leadership.
$175,000–$225,000 OTE (base + variable compensation), plus equity.
