Job Description

Team Red Dog is hiring a Business Operations Analyst for our client, a global technology leader and AI-driven technology organization. This fully remote role supports high-visibility business operations programs through data analysis, reporting, stakeholder coordination, process optimization, and workflow management. The Business Operations Analyst will manage operational processes across multiple workstreams, analyze business metrics, coordinate with internal and external partners, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through process improvement and automation. This is an opportunity to contribute to scalable operational solutions while gaining broad exposure to data, program operations, vendor coordination, and cross-functional business initiatives.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Program & Operations Management: Experience managing operational workflows, deliverables, stakeholder coordination, issue resolution, and multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Data Analysis & Reporting: Advanced Excel skills with experience analyzing business data, tracking KPIs and operational metrics, maintaining dashboards, and creating recurring reports and executive-ready summaries.
  3. Process Improvement & Workflow Optimization: Experience identifying process inefficiencies, documenting SOPs and workflows, and implementing improvements that increase operational efficiency and scalability.
  4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Strong experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to drive deliverables, resolve blockers, and maintain operational readiness.

Opportunity Overview:

This role offers the opportunity to support high-visibility, business-critical programs within a dynamic technology environment. The Business Operations Analyst will work across operational, analytical, and program management activities, providing visibility into business performance while helping teams execute efficiently and consistently. The role combines hands-on process management with data analysis, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and continuous improvement, giving the successful candidate broad exposure to how complex business operations are managed and scaled.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage and execute day-to-day operational processes across multiple programs and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely completion of deliverables and milestones.
  • Maintain operational trackers, documentation, reports, dashboards, and business records with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitor program health, identify process gaps, and drive resolution of operational issues.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze business data from multiple sources to support reporting and decision-making.
  • Create recurring reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support vendor onboarding, engagement tracking, delivery management, and operational readiness activities.
  • Develop and document standard operating procedures, workflows, and operational best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.
  • Partner with business teams to gather requirements and implement scalable operational solutions.
  • Track risks, dependencies, and action items across multiple workstreams and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Support ad hoc business analysis, special projects, and leadership requests.
  • Monitor operational metrics, project milestones, and delivery status across multiple programs.
  • Analyze business data to identify trends, risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather requirements, provide operational insights, and drive alignment across teams.

The expertise you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Operations, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business operations, program management, project coordination, business analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, workstreams, and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience with workflow automation and process improvement initiatives is preferred.
  • Experience supporting vendor management, business operations, supply chain operations, or service delivery programs is preferred.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, and operational metrics is preferred.
  • Experience documenting business processes and developing operational playbooks is preferred.
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or Airtable is a plus.
  • Experience with business intelligence and dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.

What makes a candidate highly successful in this role:

Highly successful candidates combine strong analytical skills with exceptional organization, follow-through, and business judgment. They are comfortable working with data and operational metrics while also coordinating with stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and independently driving workstreams to completion. Strong candidates proactively identify process gaps rather than simply maintaining existing workflows, communicate clearly when issues arise, and look for practical ways to improve reporting, automate repetitive work, and increase operational efficiency. The ability to work effectively in an environment with ambiguity, changing priorities, and multiple cross-functional partners will be important to long-term success.
