Our Unique Work:   

The Markets Group is looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and energetic Business Operations Analyst to join the Markets Business Services team providing support to the Markets Leadership Team in Richmond, Virginia. This position will be responsible for coordinating, integrating, and administering a range of diverse support functions. This position offers the opportunity to support the organization through relevant business operations, business processes, administrative, and analytical focused assignments.

How You’ll Make an Impact as a Business Operations Analyst:

Administrative Support & Coordination

  • Provide high-level support to the Markets Group leadership, teams, and departments

  • Manage and coordinate complex schedules for multiple executives, resolving conflicts and prioritize meetings with internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain function/team calendars and shared mailboxes with precision

  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements using online tools and travel consultants

  • Provide backup coverage for the Business Services Support staff, including potential support to the Executive Assistant (EA) of the Markets Group Head

Business Operations & Process Management

  • Monitor and maintain staffing activities and workforce planning initiatives

  • Prepare, monitor, and track travel budgets and current-year travel expenditures

  • Maintain SharePoint Travel Page and other digital workplace resources

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of efficient workflows

  • Respond to inquiries regarding operations and processes within your coverage area

  • Oversee office space planning and equipment management

Event Planning & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Plan and coordinate team events, meetings, and activities; manage all logistics to ensure successful execution

  • Facilitate meetings in virtual, onsite, and hybrid environments

  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

  • Collaborate effectively with team members across the organization

Office Management

  • Perform centralized administrative duties including mail distribution, pantry maintenance, and supply management

  • Maintain inventory and place orders for office supplies and other materials

  • Manage SharePoint sites and digital workplace tools for the team

The Unique Skill Sets We’re Looking For:

  • Professional administrative assistant and business operations experience

  • Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail and follow-up skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and coordinate multiple calendars simultaneously

  • Strong calendar management experience, including scheduling high volumes of internal and external meetings

  • Strategic thinking skills with ability to prioritize assignments, requests, tasks, and projects effectively

  • Excellent customer service orientation with ability to take initiative and proactively accomplish requests

  • Independent worker who can also collaborate effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision

  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in resolving day-to-day administrative matters

  • Professional communication skills to engage appropriately with all levels of management, including senior executives and external visitors

  • Discretion and judgment in handling sensitive data and confidential information

  • Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams)

  • Experience with enterprise applications such as Workday, AI tools and SharePoint

  • Travel 5% of the time to the NY office

Salary Range: $80000- $92000 / year
