Join Lam as a Business Operations Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your systems knowledge and business process acumen, you expertly collect and analyze data, evaluate processes, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What you’ll do

• Lead cross-functional business initiatives from concept through implementation, partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, IT, and Manufacturing teams.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, stakeholder alignment, and executive communications to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
• Analyze business processes, operational performance, and enterprise data to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision making.
• Develop business cases, metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that track progress, measure results, and drive accountability.
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured projects, actionable recommendations, and sustainable operational improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on operational efficiency, cost reduction, inventory optimization, supplier performance, and business transformation.

Who we’re looking for

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects or programs from planning through execution.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to influence decisions and prioritize actions.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while navigating changing priorities and competing stakeholder needs.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with experience engaging both working teams and executive leadership.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven ability to operate independently and drive outcomes.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, operations, or business transformation environments.
• Working knowledge of SAP and enterprise business systems.
• Experience using SQL, Power BI, Excel, or similar tools to analyze data and develop business insights.
• Experience establishing KPIs, governance models, project tracking, and performance management processes.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence frameworks.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives involving cost reduction, inventory optimization, supplier management, or working capital improvement.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
