Business Operations Analyst

• This role is responsible for managing supply chain processes for a regional or global business unit while applying discretion and judgement. The role maintains current business processes and performance metrics by collaborating with regional and global business unit planning teams, and identifies opportunities to streamline and optimize operational processes. The role supports priority projects and communicates requirements to the regional and global business unit planning teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily and weekly capacity planning, forecasting etc. from ODMs to freight forwarders by applying analytical methods to balance demand, capacity, and transit constraints.
  • Execute end‑to‑end track‑and‑trace monitoring of shipments using structured data review and exception management to identify risks, deviations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer, carrier, and stakeholder inquiries related to Inbound Air operations, including IDS commercial and consumer customers, and ELF Program ensuring engineered, timely, and accurate delivery outcomes
  • Manage customer escalations for consumer accounts by performing root‑cause analysis, defining corrective actions, and driving closure in a structured and professional manner.
  • Conduct carrier management activities, including performance measurement, KPI tracking, trend analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen carrier reliability and service levels.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with planning, operations, customer service, and transportation teams to standardize processes, reduce variability, and improve end‑to‑end supply chain efficiency
  • Support logistics operations improvement efforts by contributing to process documentation, workflow optimization, and data‑based decision making
  • Identify opportunities to optimize transportation flows, reduce lead times, improve cost efficiency, and enhance service performance through engineering and analytical insights.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret capacity data, shipment performance metrics, and operational constraints.
  • Experience applying process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks) in logistics or supply chain environments.
  • Comfortable working with complex systems, multiple stakeholders, and time‑critical operations



Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
