Job Description

Rakuten Mobile entered the market as the fourth MNO (Mobile Network Operator) in Japan, a position that had not been approved for 13 years. The company began full-scale service in April 2020 with the goal of providing high-quality mobile communication services at reasonable prices.

As of February 2025, Rakuten Mobile has surpassed 8.5 million subscribers and is experiencing rapid growth.

The company officially began offering services to corporate clients in January 2023. Rakuten Mobile is a core business poised to drive the future growth of the Rakuten Group, and as such, is receiving significant investment, attracting considerable attention both domestically and internationally.

This organization provides mobile services and solutions to corporate clients. Through Rakuten Mobile and other Rakuten Group assets, the department acts as a partner to identify and resolve various challenges for corporate clients, empowering them through our services.

Team Overview: Sales Planning & Management Group, Operations Strategy Team

This team is primarily responsible for building and improving sales processes within the corporate sales department. They plan and execute strategies from all angles across a wide range of operations that support the core of sales activities, from lead acquisition, negotiations, and contracts to collecting overdue receivables. This team's proposals contribute to increased sales, improved efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Mission

To improve the processes of the sales organization and strive to improve sales productivity in order to achieve the goals of the Rakuten Mobile corporate sales organization.

Key Roles

Building new sales processes.

Improving existing sales processes.

Building and improving other business processes.

Specific Examples

Support building field sales collaboration operations after acquiring inbound customers.

Build and support the operation of a process for introducing corporate customers from each Rakuten Group business unit to Rakuten Mobile.

Redesign and operate the meeting structure within the sales department.

Required Skills/Experience:

Must be physically and mentally healthy and able to adapt flexibly to changes in the environment.

Must be enthusiastic about new things and actively take on new and unexperienced challenges.

Experience participating in business process improvement projects.

Ability to communicate smoothly with all relevant parties and demonstrate cooperation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience in requirements definition and development of SFA tools (Salesforce, kintone, etc.).

Experience in operations using various digital tools (Power Automate, Alteryx, Blue Prism, etc.).

At least 1 year of experience in business planning, sales promotion, or planning.
