Job Description

The Imaging Center at Wolf River is seeking a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Business Office Specialist I to join our outpatient imaging team in Germantown, TN.

Position Status: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Location: 7600 Wolf River Boulevard, Suite 100, Germantown, TN 38138

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Office Specialist I plays an important role in creating a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients. This position supports the daily operations of the imaging center through a variety of patient-facing and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Welcoming and registering patients
  • Providing excellent customer service and patient coordination
  • Answering phones and assisting with patient inquiries
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Maintaining patient information and medical records
  • Supporting inventory and other business office functions
  • Collaborating with the imaging center team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • To be competitive, must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED)

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently and multitask.
  • Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and Microsoft Office

About Outpatient Imaging Affiliates

OIA partners with healthcare providers such as health systems, academic medical centers, and radiology groups to develop, market and operate quality, patient friendly, service oriented outpatient imaging centers.
