Pay Range: $23 – $25/hour (dependent on experience)

Rose Senior Living - Farmington Hills is seeking a hospitality-focused Business Office & HR Specialist to join our team. This role supports both Business Office operations and Human Resources functions, while also supporting Concierge operations as needed, playing a key role in ensuring a positive experience for residents and employees alike.

This is a full-time position with a primary focus on Business Office operations, while also providing support in Human Resources functions including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee support. This role also supports Concierge operations, including participation in an on-call rotation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working cross-functionally.

Key Responsibilities
Business Office & Accounting Support:

  • Assist with monthly billing and collections utilizing established processes
  • Process invoices on a weekly basis
  • Post rent payments and maintain accurate records
  • Communicate with residents regarding billing inquiries
  • Assist with credit card reconciliation and financial tracking

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with recruiting efforts, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication
  • Support onboarding processes (new hire paperwork, I-9 coordination, orientation support)
  • Assist with payroll processing and timecard review
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR processes
  • Provide general administrative support to HR initiatives and projects

General & Operational Support:

  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and employee information
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to support daily operations
  • Provide support at the front desk as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support Concierge coverage, including evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of related experience (HR, accounting, or administrative support)
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
