Balance strategic thinking with operational delivery to ensure outcomes are achieved efficiently and are embedded for lasting impact.

Juggle completing priorities, pivot to new priorities with short notice and deliver high quality, well thought through outputs to a range of stakeholders including frontline teams and executive leaders.

Collaborative by nature, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and driven to deliver impactful results.

Translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations, develop impactful presentations, and can lead the successful delivery of initiatives.

This is a fixed-term opportunity till end of August 2026 with a possibility for extension.

About you


You are an experienced solutions-focused and agile person with a proven track record providing executive support in a large and complex matrixed operational environment.

You will be accustomed to navigating the complexity that comes with change, and are ready to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

Have highly advanced stakeholder management skills and success in brokering effective, productive relationships across a large and diverse workforce.

Have a collegiate and collaborative leadership style and be highly adept at interfacing across multiple business functions, supporting the setting of priorities and bringing others along on the journey.

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.
