Job Description

What’s the role?

As a Business Manager, Specialised Sales, you will be supporting the Managing Director, who leads a number of specialist sales teams, including Transaction Banking specialists, Working Capital specialists, Specialised Lending (First Party and Third-Party Equipment Finance, Commercial Broker), Business Home Lending specialists, and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) specialist teams. This team is central to broadening and deepening customer relationships, leveraging differentiated value propositions, across customers in Commercial Banking, Regional and Agribusiness, and SME.

You’ll support the leadership office with planning, reporting and governance, manage operational rhythms and forums, and help shape how the team works together. This is a role where you’ll bring clarity to complexity, keep things moving and be trusted to anticipate what’s needed next.

You’ll also play a key role in financial oversight, risk and compliance, employee engagement and communications, making sure Business and Wealth is well prepared, well governed and set up for success.

This role is based in Sydney, Warrane, Gadigal Country.

What do I need?

  • Experience supporting senior leaders in a business management, operations or enablement role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across finance, risk, HR and the wider business
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including preparing papers and reports
  • A practical mindset with strong attention to detail and follow through
  • AI forward approach
