Under the direction of the Senior Director, the Business Manager serves as a strategic advisor and the primary resource for financial management, business intelligence, data analytics, and executive reporting for the Simms Mann UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology.
The Business Manager independently oversees key financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, fund management, grants, gifts, donor funding, and financial reporting, while ensuring compliance with University and health system policies. Partnering with clinical, operational, finance, development, and executive stakeholders, the incumbent assesses complex business needs, develops reporting strategies, and translates clinical, financial, operational, and programmatic data into actionable insights.
This highly visible role leads the development of dashboards, performance metrics, and strategic reports; establishes data governance and reporting standards; and identifies opportunities to improve processes and leverage automation. As a trusted liaison across UCLA Health, you will play a critical role in advancing financial stewardship, operational excellence, program evaluation, and data-driven decision-making in support of the Center's mission and continued growth.
The Simms Mann Center is a nationally recognized program dedicated to improving the quality of life and well-being of individuals affected by cancer through psychosocial support, integrative oncology services, counseling, education, and innovative patient-centered programs.
