Job Description

Drive topline growth in assigned territory in Pharma/Biopharma industry and manage assigned internal & external account manager teams. Define sales strategy and take responsibility for business development. Maintain and strengthening relationship with key business partners and customers, developing new business opportunity to fulfil the

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement sales strategy of solvent business for Pharma market in APAC region to meet growth expectation

  • Team performance management ie. set sales targets, budgets and allocate resources

  • Monitor and review sales performance regularly with the team to ensure sales & profit targets are met.

  • Client and supplier management

  • Partner with business development, customer service and product management and share best practices

  • Contribute to product development projects

  • Optimize margins by reviewing, guiding, and optimizing pricing

Your Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Sales within chemical or chemical distribution sector in APAC region

  • Experience in chemicals used in Pharma – solvents is highly beneficial

  • 10 years of leadership/team management experience

  • Good business acumen and communication skills to build long-standing and successful relationships with customers.

  • To adapt and develop solutions to customers’ needs with clear and decisive communication

  • Strong Collaboration, negotiation, persuasion skills

  • Strong research & strategic analysis skills and project management skills

  • High competency working with Microsoft office, SFDC and business forecasting etc.

  • Work independently with minimum supervision

  • Self-motivated and disciplined approach is essential

  • Proficiency in English is essential, fluent in Mandarin and any SEA language is an added advantage

  • Traveling is required
