Job Description

Summary

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.

The Business Management & Finance group within Worldwide Product Marketing (WWPM) creates value for Apple and its customers by playing an integral role in defining and influencing exceptional products while ensuring business and financial goals are met. We serve as the commercial partner to engineering and product teams, providing roadmap decision support across a multi-year horizon — feature arbitration, product line-up scenarios, pricing and margin architecture, demand forecasting, and the business cases behind new categories and new market entry, from a AAA gaming platform on Mac to on-device AI. We prepare and present this work across key leadership forums and regularly to Apple’s leadership team.

Description

We are looking for a multifaceted, highly motivated Business Manager to own roadmap decision support end to end.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally including product, platform, or hardware business partnering.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative field required.

Strong product sense and commercial intuition — able to form a perspective on where value is created, not only how it is measured.

Highly motivated self-starter who drives workstreams independently from end to end with limited oversight, consistently delivering recommendations rather than just analysis.

Credible partner to engineering and product teams — comfortable engaging on silicon architecture, on-device AI, and hardware roadmap trade-offs.

Fluent in scenario and elasticity-based modeling — able to build pricing or configuration models from demand-response assumptions through to margin outcomes.

Comfortable writing SQL against a data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) to retrieve, analyze, and validate cost and sell-through data behind models rather than relying solely on hand-off extracts.

Outstanding verbal and written business communication skills, with the judgment to architect and present material that stands up in front of senior leadership.

Sharp attention to detail with the ability to maintain the highest level of accuracy while holding the big picture.

Ease with quantitative and financial analysis in a fast-paced product context; works comfortably with incomplete information and ambiguity.
