Are you passionate about Pet Nutrition, and do you have solid experience into the B2B Pet Nutrition Ingredients industry in Australia and New Zealand? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team and make this newly created position yours. As a highly motivated, experienced and a driven Business Manager, you will spearhead the new phase of growth for ADM Pet Nutrition within the ANZ market landscape. You will be responsible for driving the business growth and financial success. You will grow, build and develop high-value, long-term partnerships with customers to develop the market for ADM Pet Nutrition B2B products. Further to this but not limited to;

• Ownership: Build and grow the market share in ANZ for ADM’s Portfolio of ingredients to the Pet Nutrition industry including Vitamin and Mineral Premix, Functional blends, Microbiomes and Ingredients
• Manage and nurture strong day-to-day relationships internal and external key partners, and existing and new customers.

• Growth Focus: Rapidly and continuously grow sales through a thorough analysis of market needs and challenges, consumer trends, and the competitive landscape to define the Australia and New Zealand B2B commercial strategy aligned with ADM Global and APAC strategy, including customer segmentation, channel identification, and cross-selling opportunities within ADM’s portfolio. This also includes the development of short- and medium-term commercial plans to expand the customer pipeline, including global & regional strategic accounts
• Lead customer engagement through regular follow-ups and joint visits, coordinating resources to address business needs.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and S&OP processes to ensure efficient supply chain and stock management.
• Align go-to-market activities in the region and coordinate the approach and messaging with ADM’s marketing team and the technical support with ADM’s Innovation (CD&D) team.
• Develop the Pet B2B Australia and New Zealand business team over time
• Create a strong network within APAC Pet Nutrition internal and external stakeholders and facilitate cross-BU projects and internal coordination to drive business development.

Your Profile

• University degree in Business Management, Animal Science, Veterinary Science or similar field
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Global company environment (essential), with a Pet, Animal or Nutrition company
• Existing network within Australia and New Zealand to the B2B Pet Nutrition Manufacturers (desirable)
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Commercial management in a B2B environment
• Customer solution focus, whilst thinking strategically thinking out of the box
• High level of drive and motivation to take ownership and grow this space independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
