We have an opportunity for a Business Manager (Chief Executive Business Manager) to join the Corporate Governance Team within Corporate Services initially for a 6 month period.
Disclosure Scotland is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Government, operating on behalf of the Scottish Ministers, to perform an important safeguarding role for the people of Scotland. Disclosure Scotland is responsible for managing and delivering the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and processing applications for disclosure certificates which enable safer recruitment decisions to be made by employers.
As part of the Corporate Governance Team within Corporate Services, the Business Manager works at the core of Disclosure Scotland, providing a link between the Chief Executive / Accountable Officer, Executive Team and the wider organisation. The role supports the leadership and management of Disclosure Scotland through strategic coordination, governance support, performance monitoring and organisational insight. The postholder enables the Chief Executive and Executive Team to make informed decisions, maintain organisational oversight and drive delivery of strategic objectives.
This role is a temporary position with an expected commitment of 6 months.
