In this role, you'll:
• Provide support and strong leadership to a team of business services professionals, ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day business operations and support services with seamless delivery for Regions, Business Units and Senior Executives.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, bringing a culture first mindset and navigating diverse perspectives to achieve positive outcomes in a dynamic environment, working in a matrix environment with embedded partners.
• Partner with senior leaders to shape, drive, and execute strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with divisional objectives. Lead complex projects from ideation through to delivery, ensuring outcomes are timely, evidence-based, and of sustained strategic value.
• Monitor enterprise strategy, risks, and issues, assessing their impact on divisional priorities and operations.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, leveraging strong project management capabilities.
• Support procurement activities where necessary, or guide and coach within the division, ensuring adherence to governance, compliance, and risk management standards while providing strategic advice to Senior Leaders.
• Manage communication, reporting and process frameworks within division, including internal approvals, documentation, to support branch operations
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring in partnership with Finance, ensuring optimal resource allocation and compliance with financial standards.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and executive-level briefing materials for corporate plans, presentations, annual reports, and ministerial submissions,

About you
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a matrix structure, with proven ability to lead business operations (people leadership) and support senior executives.
• You thrive in complex environments and have strong ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems proactively, and support senior executives with clarity and confidence.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
• Forward-thinking leader who anticipates risks, identifies emerging issues early, and develops proactive mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven leadership experience in building high-performing, engaged, and cohesive teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business applications.
