Business Manager - Strategy, Reform and Support

Courts, Tribunals and Service Delivery Division

  • Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time(up to June 2027)
  • Location: Sydney CBD
  • Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12, Salary ($149,739 - $173,174), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

The Opportunity

You’ll collaborate closely with the Executive Director on high-priority business transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing overall operations and be involved in critical projects, preparing briefings and reports, handling general correspondence, contributing to policy and process development, and managing planning tasks.

What you’ll do

In this role you will deliver high level business support and strategic advice to the Executive Director and Strategy, Reform and Support Executive Team to support the achievement of the Branch’s strategic and operational objectives. This includes managing all cross-functional issues affecting the Branch such as safety, finance, people, business processes, reporting, strategic planning, and organisational improvement.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams to co-ordinate and deliver projects and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proven capability to anticipate and address contentious issues, synthesize information and render concise, relevant and well-articulated advice.
  • Ability to provide advice on competing complex issues within tight time frames
