About this opportunity

Join the IWD Business Management team where you will be part of a diverse and multicultural group of 10 professionals based in Portugal and Luxembourg. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the Institutional and Wholesale Distribution activities, ensuring efficient data management, analysis, and reporting.

You will be at the forefront of providing accurate and insightful analysis on our sales performance, market trends and on the overall status of our business. Your work will directly enable well-informed and data-driven decisions from senior leadership, shaping the future decision of our organization. What you’ll be doing

• Produce Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports and ensure quality in the production of Institutional and Wholesale Distribution (IWD) Management reporting;
• Act as the interface between Sales, Finance and CRS to troubleshoot flows reallocation and fees;
• Providing ad-hoc holdings and sales analysis to different stakeholders;
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making;
• Act as a contributor to the RFP/DDQ process, collaborating cross-functionally with Investment Product Teams;
• Support the implementation of operational improvement leveraging automation and technology where possible;
• Develop Market Intelligence capabilities to support senior management and the Sales teams.

The role is based in Quinta da Fonte (Paço de Arcos).

It’s expected you to work 100% on-site in the first 6 months (with flexibility) and after on an Hybrid regime (3 days in the Office + 2 days from home).

Your profile and background:

• Patient and determined, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail: This is essential when handling complex data-sets, ensuring accuracy in analysis, and meeting tight deadlines;
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to leveraging data and technology, enabling you to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and data-drive decision-making;
• Effective communicator with strong teamwork skills, allowing you to collaborate with different teams across the organization;
• Autonomous and driven to continuously improve processes and workflows, empowering you to take ownership, identify areas for optimization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Your experience and background:

• Good understanding of asset management processes and workflows (e.g. Fees, Value of AuM, Value of Flows);
• Experience working with large datasets and performing data analysis;
• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field from a university;
• Fluency in English, both written and oral;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel, Power Query);
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus;
• Familiarity with SQL. Any data oriented language is a plus (Python, C#);
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
