We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Intelligence Intern to join our team at PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad. This role is ideal for university students or fresh graduates who are eager to learn how data and analysis support real-world business decisions.
As part of the team, you will gain hands-on experience in business and economic analysis, corporate reporting, and performance insights. You’ll also contribute to the preparation of management reports and external business materials that support strategic discussions and stakeholder engagement.
This internship provides valuable exposure to a leading energy company and the opportunity to strengthen your analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities =
Analyse business and economic data to identify trends and insights.
Assist in preparing management reports, summaries, and presentation materials.
Support the development of communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate data and input from various research platforms to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Conduct research to support analysis and reporting needs.
Maintain documents and updates throughout reporting cycles.
Requirements =
Currently pursuing a degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Strong interest in business analysis and corporate reporting.
Good communication and writing skills.
Comfortable working with data in Excel or similar tools.
Positive attitude, eager to learn, and able to work in a team environment.
Preferred advantage: familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, or presentation design.
