Your Responsibilities: 

• Understand,designandmaintaindifferentdata structuresandthe correspondingdata, and constantlyoptimizeandadapt thedata storages,data structures,schemas, views, procedures, etc.tofulfil customer use cases

• Transform the data structuresfor different representations and implementations.

• Optimizeourdatabases, e.g, indexes,the data structure,views,and queries,and implement extensions, stored proceduresforfastresultretrievalevenforcomplexuse cases

• Be an active member of theagile team, contributing to ceremonies and team decision making

• Work closely withdevelopers,productowners,andotherstakeholders to ensuretimelydeliveries 

You should bring: 

• Expert level experiencein Data Engineering or Business Intelligence

• Strong background in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, and their optimization

• Minimum medium levelscripting experiencein Bash, Perl, or Python

• Experienceinversion controltools, like Git.

• Experience in AI supported development/working.Fluent English oral and written communication skills 

• The ability and passion to work in adiverseteam 

​The following skills will be a bonus: 

• Basic chemistry or life sciences knowledge

• Experience or training in AWS 

• Experience or training in C/C++

• Experience or training inLinux

• Knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence
