Your Responsibilities:
Understand,designandmaintaindifferentdata structuresandthe correspondingdata, and constantlyoptimizeandadapt thedata storages,data structures,schemas, views, procedures, etc.tofulfil customer use cases
Transform the data structuresfor different representations and implementations.
Optimizeourdatabases, e.g, indexes,the data structure,views,and queries,and implement extensions, stored proceduresforfastresultretrievalevenforcomplexuse cases
Be an active member of theagile team, contributing to ceremonies and team decision making
Work closely withdevelopers,productowners,andotherstakeholders to ensuretimelydeliveries
You should bring:
Expert level experiencein Data Engineering or Business Intelligence
Strong background in relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, and their optimization
Minimum medium levelscripting experiencein Bash, Perl, or Python
Experienceinversion controltools, like Git.
Experience in AI supported development/working.Fluent English oral and written communication skills
The ability and passion to work in adiverseteam
Education & Experience:
Expert(5 years)as a Data Engineer or Business Intelligence Expert
Strongexperience with relational databases, like PostgreSQLor Oracle
Abachelor'sdegree (master'spreferred) incomputerscience,orlife scienceswith a strong background inIT
The following skills will be a bonus:
Basic chemistry or life sciences knowledge
Experience or training in AWS
Experience or training in C/C++
Experience or training inLinux
Knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence
Primary Location Base Pay Range: Germany - Frankfurt (Baseler Platz) €62,200 - €103,500.
