We at Coforge are hiring Position (22739) with the following skill set.

The Analytics Engineer is responsible for modernizing the enterprise reporting ecosystem and establishing a scalable analytics foundation that enables trusted business intelligence, self-service analytics, and AI-driven insights. This role partners closely with Data Platform, Product, Business, and AI teams to extend analytical data models, standardize reporting, and build reusable semantic assets.

Responsibilities

• Modernize and standardize the enterprise reporting platform by migrating legacy dashboards and reports to the strategic analytics platform.

• Establish the analytics foundation by extending curated and aggregated data layers to support enterprise reporting and analytics.

• Design reusable metrics, KPIs, dimensional models, semantic models, and certified dashboards.

• Partner with Data Engineering to identify and implement new analytical datasets and business logic.

• Collaborate with Data Stewards to define business metadata, data definitions, ownership, and governance.

• Implement reporting standards, dashboard certification, and analytics best practices.

• Optimize report performance, usability, and scalability.

• Support AI-ready analytics by building trusted semantic models consumable by dashboards and AI agents.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Engineering.

• Proven experience modernizing enterprise reporting platforms and migrating legacy reporting solutions.

• Experience establishing analytics foundations including aggregated data layers, reusable metrics, KPIs, semantic models, and dashboards.

• Strong SQL and dimensional modeling expertise.

• Experience partnering with Data Stewards to establish business metadata, glossary, and governance.

• Experience working with modern cloud data platforms and enterprise BI tools.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

• Hands on experience with Metrics, KPIs, Dashboards and Insights.

• Experience of Strategy (formerly known as MicroStrategy) Business Intelligence platform is a big plus.

• Experience with enterprise semantic layers; knowledge of ontology is a plus.

• Experience supporting Analytical Agentic AI use cases and Generative BI initiatives is a plus.
