Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Rugby to assist with the appointment of a Business Intelligence and Performance Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £214.24 - £269.92 per day

Summary:

A Business Intelligence & Performance Officer to provide business intelligence, performance management, data analysis and reporting services across Communities & Homes. The role will support managers and senior leaders with accurate, meaningful information for operational, financial and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards, scorecards and management information using Power BI, Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc performance reports for managers, senior leadership teams, elected members and external regulators.
  • Analyse operational, performance and financial data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Present complex data and insights in an accessible format to support evidence-based decision-making.
  • Coordinate and produce statutory and regulatory performance returns, including Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs), housing compliance reporting and other sector performance requirements.

Essentials:

  • Proven experience in performance monitoring, business intelligence, reporting or data analytics.
  • Experience interpreting and analysing complex datasets to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience developing business intelligence reports, dashboards and management information.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, modelling and reporting.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and data visualisations.
