As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be tasked with managing all aspects of any new work/project assessments thoroughly from inception to delivery. You will need to build close working relationships with enterprise data management to design and implement specific analytics requirements based on bank’s data standards. In addition, as a BI Analyst you will also work closely with Project teams, partners and 3rd party vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with business teams and other stakeholders to understand, document and recommend BI solutions to meet diverse, complex business requirements
• Design BI Schema, reports and dashboards for regular and ad-hoc reports using data visualization best practices.
• Performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of both new BI solution
• Analysis and interpretation of business requirements and translation into functional and technical requirement specifications
• Assist with project planning, estimating, approach definition and implementation planning
• Support, design, build and test objects, projects, datasets, reports, dashboards, cubes.
• Evaluate current and emerging BI industry trends and best practices when designing BI solutions* Plan custom application lifecycle management for embedded solutions
• Participate in solution architecture, proof of concepts, and estimations
• Partner with business to ensure prioritization of corporate and departmental objectives and projects
• Create application dashboards and perform automated compliance audits
• Prepare test cases for UAT, perform testing, and document results
• Build data checks to constantly improve the smooth running, data integrity and accurate reporting. Provide support and maintenance of dashboards to ensure availability and performance
• Perform data analysis to come up with business rules and troubleshoot data anomalies
• Support end-user issues and resolve then in a timely manner

• Strong data analysis skills using Hive , Spark , Python , R etc...

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data analysis/data applications development experience, with a combination of business and technical skills
• Minimum 5 years of current and hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases. Experience working with Hadoop
• Thorough knowledge of all capabilities of the MicroStrategy Suite and other (Tableau) BI tools
• End to end project development experience from gathering requirements, design, development, testing, and support
• Understanding of key Data Warehousing methodologies
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on both the business and IT teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
