Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst I

Providence Anesthesiology Associates (PAA) is hiring a healthcare-focused Business Intelligence Analyst with strong Power BI, SQL, DAX, and advanced Excel skills who can analyze operational and financial data, build meaningful reporting solutions, and provide leadership with actionable insights that improve business performance and support strategic growth.

Business Intelligence Analyst – Role Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst serves as a strategic partner to leadership by transforming complex healthcare and operational data into actionable insights that support decision-making, process improvement, and business growth. The role combines technical data expertise with business acumen to identify trends, develop reporting solutions, automate processes, and drive operational efficiencies across the organization.

Key Focus Areas:

• Analyze and interpret large datasets from healthcare, billing, scheduling, financial, and operational systems to identify trends and opportunities.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, data models, and performance metrics using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Excel, and DAX.
• Partner with leadership to define reporting needs, prioritize analytics initiatives, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Support process improvement efforts by leveraging analytics, automation, and business intelligence solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide training on reports and dashboards. Assist in evaluating external business opportunities through data analysis and revenue projections.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver, with at least 3 years of experience, who can bridge the gap between data and business operations. They possess strong analytical and technical skills while also being able to communicate findings clearly to healthcare leaders and operational stakeholders. A bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
