  • Serve as a bridge between business users and centralized data teams (Analytics Engineering, Governance)

Education & Experience:

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and reporting best practices.

Professional

  • Strong business analysis and communication skills

Visualization & Analysis

  • Highlights trends, drivers, and implications — not just numbers
  • Surfaces data quality or definition issues proactively
  • Builds reports using shared semantic models and Fabric datasets
  • Writes DAX measures following approved metric definitions
  • Applies visual performance best practices in reports and dashboards
  • Avoids local or data specific logic in favor of governed, reusable assets

Measured Success:

  • Reports are consistent, trusted, and aligned with shared metric definitions
  • Stakeholders rely on insights to inform decisions, not reconcile numbers
  • Self-service analytics adoption increases over time
  • Business questions are answered faster with less work
