Job Description

Position Summary
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's pricing and profitability objectives through data analysis, reporting, and actionable business insights. This role partners closely with Operations, Finance, Sales, and other stakeholders to evaluate pricing opportunities, monitor business performance, and provide recommendations that drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex data into meaningful business recommendations.
Position Responsibilities
• Perform pricing, market, margin, and profitability analyses to support business decisions and revenue growth initiatives.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, scorecards, reports, and KPI frameworks that provide actionable insights across the organization.
• Build analytical models and perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate pricing changes, promotions, and other business initiatives.
• Analyze market trends, customer behavior, competitive pricing, and operational performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop pricing recommendations that support revenue, margin, and market share objectives.
• Support the development and execution of pricing strategies through data-driven analysis and business insights.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing actions and business initiatives, measuring results against expectations and recommending adjustments as needed.
• Extract, validate, transform, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of reporting and analytical outputs.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver business intelligence solutions that support informed decision-making.
• Actively solicit stakeholder feedback to improve reporting tools, dashboards, and analytical processes.
• Leverage AI, automation, and business intelligence tools to improve reporting efficiency, analytical capabilities, and productivity.
• Communicate findings, recommendations, project status, and potential risks clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
• Maintain tracking of analytical requests, projects, and deliverables while providing regular updates and proactively identifying risks or delays.
• Identify opportunities to improve pricing processes, reporting methodologies, data management practices, and operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Anticipate business needs by monitoring trends, developing hypotheses, and proactively delivering actionable insights.
• Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• Work effectively both independently and as a collaborative member of cross-functional teams.
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 2–5 years of experience in pricing, business analytics, financial analysis, revenue management, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate large and complex datasets into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience working with databases and large datasets.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and automation technologies to improve analytical efficiency and productivity.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships and collaborate across departments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting pricing, revenue management, or commercial analytics functions.
• Experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting methodologies.
• Commercial real estate, industrial distribution, aftermarket parts, or related industry experience.
• Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
• Graduate of an analyst development or rotational program.

• Must be willing to work Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm CST
