Description:
The CAFB is seeking an innovative and data-driven Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Analytics team in maximizing the use of data and information systems to inform and drive programmatic and strategic decision-making. This role will work directly with departments across the organization to understand business priorities and KPIs, conducting analysis and developing impactful dashboards and reports that effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences.
As a lead developer for Power BI, the Business Intelligence Analyst will create visual-heavy dashboards while training staff to become more self-sufficient in data access and analysis. They will leverage Microsoft Fabric and Power BI as primary platforms while also working across CAFB’s broader data ecosystem to meet analytical needs.
This position will manage the JIRA ticketing center, reviewing and triaging requests to ensure they are assigned to the appropriate team member while managing SLAs. The Business Intelligence Analyst will support the ad hoc analytical and reporting needs of the organization while working to align departmental data practices with CAFB’s Fabric and Power BI infrastructure. They will also help define business requirements for enhancements to systems in our technology stack and will dedicate a portion of their time to GIS work supporting the analytical and data needs of the food bank — a growth area for the organization.

Working alongside the Data Engineer who manages Fabric administration, this role requires an ambitious and mission-driven individual who can think critically, creatively problem-solve, and bridge the gap between technical data infrastructure and business user needs.
