We’re looking for a Business Intelligence, Analyst who is passionate about turning data into insights that shape business decisions. If you enjoy solving complex problems, building dashboards, and working closely with stakeholders, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact.

The incumbent will be part of a reporting team centered on providing sales performance insights. The incumbent will develop critical business intelligence initiatives, support the collection, transformation and visualization of data and participate in projects that will contribute to strategic business objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Data & Analytics

  • Partner closely with sales channels as a trusted data advisor and subject matter expert

  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, generate insights, and identify opportunities to improve performance

  • Translate business questions into data-driven solutions and actionable recommendations

Reporting & Visualisation

  • Design and build intuitive dashboards to track business performance

  • Deliver timely, high-quality reports for campaign tracking and business monitoring

  • Support Associate Director and Channel Heads in reporting, sales data visualization, strategic planning, business performance analysis and measurement of quantitative metrics

  • This position has delegated authority in accordance with department delegated authority amount from time to time

Business Impact & Transformation

  • Support strategic planning by providing insights that inform decision-making

  • Drive initiatives to improve data management, automation, and analytics capabilities

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

  • Support division wide audit and governance processes when required, inclusive of routine and ad-hoc reviews

  • Enhance reporting processes through automation and continuous productivities

  • Ability to build strong collaboration with other stakeholders (e.g. Actuarial, Audit, Product, Finance, Technology, Tied Distribution) to achieve better support to the distribution channels

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Management or related field

  • At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in reporting, business intelligence and data analytics

  • A self-starter with analytical curiosity and strong business acumen to solve data & business problems

  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management experience, with ability to develop relationships across the teams and divisions

  • Results and detail orientated with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and ability to make data driven recommendations

  • Strong in data literacy – ability to read, write, manipulate and make sense of large data

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced)

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel VBA, SQL, Python or any other common programming languages

  • Good experience in creating dashboards in visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview or similar tools

  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry would be an added advantage
