What will you be doing?

This internship is designed for students eager to work with data and insights to help clients make informed decisions. You will gain real-world experience with a Client Development Team, supporting projects that leverage market information and advanced analytics to drive growth. Ideal for rising year 3 students interested in careers in Insights, Analytics, CPG, Retail, General Merchandise, or Market Research post-graduation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support a team that uses market data and analytics to help General Merchandise clients understand their performance relative to the market and identify growth opportunities.
  • Learn how to leverage Circana’s data platforms and analytic tools to address client business challenges.
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and improve business performance.
  • Participate in client meetings to observe how data-driven insights are presented and applied.
  • Contribute to analyses that combine quantitative rigor with business context, ensuring recommendations are grounded in market realities.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field with a quantitative component, expecting to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Interest in data analytics and market research; experience or knowledge of Retail or CPG industry preferred.
  • Academic background in statistics, economics, marketing analytics, data visualization, or logic is a plus.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense) is a plus.
  • Ability to frame business problems, design analysis plans, and synthesize data findings into insights and visualizations
  • Intermediate English level required.
